Town Centre

The first stage of Watagan Park's new town centre is now open! Enjoy the convenience of doing your weekly shop locally and meeting up with friends at the centre's coffee shop.

More stores will open before Christmas, with additional shops arriving in January and the dining precinct launching in March.

Future projects

Skate Park

As part of Johnson Property Group’s on-going commitment to deliver local infrastructure for our community, one of the next projects currently in planning is a new Skate Park within the Watagan Park estate. The Skate Park will be located within the new On-Site Sports Facility precinct – adjacent to the new Watagan Park Town Centre.

Sports Facility

We are excited to share that the new regional on-site Sports Facility between the Watagan Park Town Centre and Avondale School has received DA approval marking a significant milestone. The facility include a 6.2-hectare sporting complex comprising a full-size oval sports field with field lighting, a skate park, a fenced dog park and more.

Deaves Road

Completed

This is the newest piece of infrastructure Johnson Property Group has delivered under its Planning Agreement with Lake Macquarie City Council.

Cooranbong Park Sports Facility

Completed

This sports facility has also now been completed and handed over to Lake Macquarie City Council. This facility is available for community use.

Local Park North

Completed

This park, located at the new roundabout onJeremiah Drive, was completed in February 2023.Offering a large open space area including playequipment, half-basketball court and kick about area,this 1.1 hectare park is open for community use.Council have recently installed shade over the playequipment.
